Full custom · a table we built
Eighteen feet of black walnut.
Closed it is 9 ft × 4 ft. Open, butterfly leaves fold out of the belly — both sides — and it runs 18 feet. Built for a family that seats about fifty at the holidays. An heirloom, not a catalog table.

Butterfly leaves. Both sides.
Each leaf folds, swings, and drops into a box in the apron. The carousel slides on aluminum track into the belly of the table. Six panels, six hinges a side. One side travels one way, the other side the other. Closed for Tuesday. Eighteen feet when the house is full.
